Entrants must be registered users of Session Studio and aged 18 or over.

The following categories of entrant are not permitted to enter this competition:

• - a.  Employees of Session.ID Limited or any associated companies (“Session”, “Salt”, “Stage”, “SoundCloud”) - b. Employees (or members of their immediate families, including any live-in partner or household member) of companies associated with the competition and all affiliates of such companies.

To enter the Session Studio “SongDrop” competition:

• Write your original song (on your own or collaborating with other musicians) - you can use the Session Studio app to help you with your songwriting.

• When it's finished, create a share link from the Session Studio app, and send the link to: songdrop@sessionstudio.com.

• Links must be public and created and shared via your Session Studio account.

The competition is open worldwide.

One entry per user, per account.

One entry per song, we will not accept the same song entered through multiple user accounts.

You can enter the competition at any time between 7th January, and 23:59:59 GMT on 16th February 2025.. All entries must be received no later than 23:59:59 on 16th February 2025 (the “entry period”).

You don’t need to buy anything to enter the competition. 

If you submit an entry for the competition, we will treat you as accepting these terms and conditions and agreeing to keep to them.

We will not accept entries sent in through agents, other websites or multiple user accounts.

We will not accept any entries that contain any sexual, offensive, inappropriate or defamatory content. 

We will not accept any late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries.

One winner will be selected by the judge  from all eligible entries received during the entry period on or around 18th of February 2025. 

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into concerning this decision.

The copyright of each song remains with the writer.

We will contact the winner using their email address or phone number on their user profile on or around 20th February  2025. The winner will have 48 hours to accept the prize and give us any more information we may need in relation to the prize.

If we cannot contact the winner within a reasonable time or they are not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond our reasonable control, we can award the prize to another person who entered. 

Your Session Studio account must be active to receive the prize.

There is 1 prize package to be won. The winner will receive the following prize;

• One year free of Session Studio Creator

Cash prizes will be awarded via bank transfer to an account nominated by the winner. For accounts in other currencies, the amount will be converted at the prevailing exchange rate.

There is no alternative to the prize.

Session reserves the right to refuse or withdraw the prize if a winner or a party authorised by the winner to act on their behalf, threatens or abuses a Session employee or otherwise conducts themselves in a manner that Session reasonably regards as inappropriate, offensive or unlawful. 

We (“Session”) will use any information we collect from you for the purpose of providing the competition, contacting winners to tell them of their win and for the purposes of providing and delivering prizes.

By entering this competition, if you are successful, we may publish or make available your surname, country and title of the winning song. You can object to this publication or ask for less information to be published or made available by contacting us on support@sessionstudio.com. If you have objected, we may still be required to provide information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.

We do not accept any responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay in you sending your entry or us receiving it. Proof you sent an entry is not proof that you have entered the competition.

We can substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater value if this is necessary for reasons beyond our control.

Apart from causing death or personal injury arising from negligence or in respect of fraud and as far as allowed by law, we and our associated companies and agents will not have any responsibility for your enjoyment of the prize or any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize which are beyond our control. We are also not responsible for any act or failure to act of any supplier.

We will not be liable for prizes that do not reach winners for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

We may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if we have good reason to believe you have broken these terms and conditions or if you or anyone authorised by you to deal with your entry acts in a way towards us, any other person entering the competition or, Session staff which we reasonably consider to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified we can give the prize to another person who entered the competition.

This competition, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, will be governed by English law and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
